Creative Writing with Martin O’Connor

In this workshop, Martin O’Connor worked with participants from the village to write original poetry or prose. The participants thought about place-their environment, their home- and how that connects to voice, experience and memory.

Martin O’Connor is a theatre maker, playwright and poet from Glasgow. He is interested in themes of identity, place and voice and is particularly interested in Scots and Gaelic. He has. Delivered many writing and public engagement projects which span poetry, playwriting and performance.
