Bowling Bowl-img was the first activity proposed by Hydra Artist in Residence, Nic Green.

All interested residents of the village were invited to receive clay delivered to their door via wheel barrow, and follow an instructional video made by the artist, by which they can make a coil pot- a very primitive form of bowl making.

​

Once complete, Hydra Arts and nic worked on picking up all pots, bisque firing them, glazing them, and final firing, before returning them to the villagers.

 

The results were beautiful.
