Hydra Arts is seeking a creative producer to help deliver the company’s new programme of work.
Fee of £10,000 based on £200/day, at 8 hours per day spread flexibly over 12 months, starting October 2024.
Over the next 15 months we will be delivering an exciting programme including a climate focused performance that involves a land and sea trip to Svalbard in the Arctic, a village wide festival in Old Kilpatrick and the establishment of a weekly performance club.
We are looking for someone who is excited by these ideas to join the organisation and to collaborate with us to help produce the projects within the programme.
This role is offered on a freelance basis. We support flexible working and are open to ongoing negotiations of how the time commitment of the work is understood to fit other commitments, on a day by day, or hour by hour basis.
Experience:
Collaboration in arts organisation/producing
Experience in creating and maintaining relationships with artists/participants/other stakeholders
Experience of project monitoring, evaluation and report writing
Experience in contracting, budgeting and financial management
Knowledge/Skills/Other:
Creative interpersonal and collaborative working skills
Financial management skills including use of accounting software
Computer literacy
