Roman Around is a new pop up theatre experience made by the excellent members of Hydra Theatre Company; a troupe of 6 intrepid young people ready to take to the streets of Old Kilpatrick with their Roman inspired antics.
Spot them Roman Around the village in their togas and laurel leaves wondering where Rome has gone. Nearly 2000 years after the romans left the area, Hydra Theatre Company ask what remnants of the old empire still exist, and how we might find them.
Hydra Theatre Company is a new theatre company based in Dumbarton, led by Murray Wason and Peter McMaster. We gather on a weekly basis throughout 4 terms of the year. It is an open access, flexible and fun space to get together and learn about ways to make performance and to have a good time doing so.
