Verses Immerses
by Nic Green and Vince Virr

When: 6.30pm Saturday 28th June

Where: Meet at the entrance to Lusset Glen on Dumbarton Road, (next to the Nisa). What three words ///casually.clinic.painting

Age Rating: All welcome

Join a cast of all ages and experience as we immerse into a rhythmic, "Romanish," rave-space!

Verses Immerses draws inspiration from fragmented depictions of dance in Roman times, stretching the bodily imagination to fill in the gaps.  Turning football pitch into ceremonial dance ground, we’ll move our way through metaphorical time and symbolic walls, in part re-enactment, part collective imagining.

Verses Immerses is a vibrant, energetic exploration of the shapes, formations, and meanings left behind in ancient Roman imagery and descriptions of dance.

Access:

This performance begins with a procession through Lusset Glen. This may take up to 30 minutes, slow walking. It is well pathed, with some uphill sections.

For those who wish to avoid this, please arrive at the Kilpatrick Braes car park 15 minutes after the start time and join the procession as we arrive (What Three Words: ///watchdogs.indulges.curve).

Verses Immerses takes place outdoors, where there is no seating or cover. You are welcome to bring something to sit on and we encourage you to dress for the weather!

There will be loud music as part of this performance.
